Hi, I’m Fiona — team leader and master stylist at The Hair Hut Papamoa. I’m in my 40th year of hairdressing, and the journey this industry has given me is fantastic. The opportunities are endless and the people you meet are so special.

I’ve experienced competitions (representing the Bay), owned two fabulous salons, and worked alongside some of the best in the industry. I love Hair Expo in Australia — they showcase lots of new, exciting products and services, and it’s always good to learn new things.

I’ve been in the Bay for 14 years and plan to be here for a couple more. I enjoy my role at The Hair Hut and working with a brilliant team — never a boring day in this fantastic career.

Hi, I’m Maxina.

I am a qualified senior stylist, working in the industry for over 20 years.

I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing. I am naturally a very creative person, so hairdressing has always been my perfect outlet — from precision cutting to complex colour formulas and working with beautiful long hair of all types.

Connection with clients is the absolute building block of this industry: trust is formed and friendships grow, and the salon becomes their special place to take time out, talk, and feel valued.

The Hair Hut Papamoa for me is not only a place I get to be creative, but I have the most amazing and supportive group of girls to work alongside, all of which have a never-ending wealth of knowledge — I see this as constant opportunity for growth in this forever-evolving industry.

When I am not in the salon, you’ll find me running about after my little girl, at the parks and beaches enjoying the Bay of Plenty.

Hi, I’m Aimee.

I’m a passionate hairstylist with 10 years of experience in the industry. I love helping people feel beautiful and confident through personalised, high-quality hair services.

I love creating foil/balayage looks and restyle cutting though I truly enjoy every aspect of hairdressing — from a quick tidy-up to a full hair transformation. Building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with my clients is something I truly value.

I love being part of the talented team at The Hair Hut. Outside of the salon, you’ll find me spending quality time with my girls and soaking up everything the beautiful Bay of Plenty has to offer.

Hi, I’m Sandra, an emerging stylist with over four years of experience and a real passion for helping people feel confident in their hair. I love creating beautiful blondes, vibrant colours, and smooth, healthy looking results through keratin and chemical straightening services. My goal is to make every client feel comfortable, listened to, and leave the salon feeling like the best version of themselves. I can’t wait to welcome you into my chair!

Hi, I’m Amber! I’m a fully qualified hairdresser with a bubbly personality and a genuine love for hairdressing. I love meeting new people, having a chat, and making my clients feel confident. I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and continue improving my skills. I really hope to see you in my chair!

Hi everyone, I’m Lucia!

You’ll usually find me behind the scenes making sure our socials are looking cute, or at reception chatting away with our lovely clients. I love all things creative, so getting to bring a little bit of that into The Hair Hut is one of my favourite parts about this job. When I’m not in the salon, I’m usually creating something, making videos, or planning my next project!
